Honda Junkyard Engine Kits. The cost of Midget Racing Engines has reached a level that is damaging the sport. It's not that the engines aren't worth the money, they are. The parts, technology and skills required to build a nationally competitive midget engine are expensive. An ever-growing number of teams, promoters and sanctioning bodies are examining ways to contain engine costs with "Sportsman Division" racing by including Ford Focus, Kenyon Cars, Quad 4's, older car and engine combinations that are no longer nationally competitive. They are also opening the door to late model DOHC ECM Controlled engines. Even the National cars are beginning to benefitting from less unrestrictive rules on DOHC, ECM controlled engines.
